How to analyze and interpret audiovisual data in nursing dissertation research? May 1, 2016 Abstract Due to its tremendous importance in nursing, audiovisual-based studies are increasingly important in order to share information that is required to perform research. Research performed using audiovisual-based techniques is challenging with numerous variables from which to write a thesis, according to the principles of sample research testing, and other professional performance measures and processes. Therefore, many methods, such as statistical methods used in audio-visual experiments, are applied to them to analyze the relation between sample-based methods and patient outcomes like behavior change and efectivity. As a result, there is an interest in using these methods to analyse audiovisual data in nursing direction, just as in other areas of research. To implement audiovisual-based studies to analyze data from nursing research at home, we have developed a diagnostic algorithm for analysis of audiovisual data that is based on the principles of sample-based methods. We present the study and discuss our diagnostic algorithm for analysis of audiovisual data, using an online tool. Objectives In the United Kingdom, audiovisual-based research is especially important in nursing research, as it is the reference to apply to the study of patient outcomes and patients behaviors during the study procedure. Methods The information is obtained by a visual interface tool, “Audio-Visual System”. The system stores the contents to be analyzed, it then uses a mathematical approach made for testing, so as to perform the sample statistical analysis. Consequently, the system calculates a sample-based version of the control data, e.g. the correlation of patient-related behavior changes and the measured efectivity scores of the nursing patient taken from the researcher’s papers or comments.
